SUMMARY
SAO aims to investigate the response of phytoplankton blooms to changes in environmental drivers in the Southern Ocean and how this response cascades through the planktonic communities and carbon fluxes, across subseasonal to interannual timescales.
Project Description
SAO receives funding from the CNRS-INSU LEFE-GMMC program, which will help optimize the selection of deployment sites for BGC-Argo profiling floats.
