SUMMARY
This data grant from EMODnet will allow to prepare eight datasets for their integration into EMODnet Biology, in the EU, and OBIS, internationally.
Project Description
The goal of this project is to prepare the datasets by homogenising the taxonomic sorting, filling the appropriate metadata and generating the files in a universal format readable by EMODnet. We will leverage the application http://ecotaxa.obs-vlfr.fr to sort the 2.5M images these datasets contains and prepare the information for EMODnet, hence paving the way for future uploads from this application.
