SUMMARY
The biogeochemical analysis lab allows to measure key and secondary parameters of carbonate chemistry. It is at the heart of research on the impact of ocean acidification on marine communities.
Facility Description
The technical platform allows the measurement of pH by spectrophotometry and the potentiometric determination of total alkalinity. These are the 2 key parameters of carbonate chemistry. Potentiometric dosing of other parameters of interest such as calcium, magnesium and dissolved oxygen is possible.
