Tanguy Frouin is a data-driven engineer with a focus on embedded software, he develops Python data-acquisition code for autonomous BGC-Argo profilers to collect oceanographic observations, leveraging an embedded Linux core and the manufacturer’s libraries. He turns scientific requirements into a robust software architecture, then delivers implementation and testing on a float simulation test bench. He also plans and organizes lab and sea trials within the European GEORGE project (WP3), takes part in oceanographic campaigns and analyzes the resulting data to validate sensors and system performance
